Pecan Pie Brownies...
You'll need:
1 box Brownie mix
13 x 9 pan
Pecan Pie filling:
1 C sugar
1 1/2 C light corn syrup
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 C butter
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
2 C chopped pecans
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350* degrees
Mix brownie batter, adding nuts if desired,,,or chocolate chips
Combine sugar, syrup,eggs, butter, and vanilla in small sauce pan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. It burns easily so stay with it and keep stirring foe at least 5 minutes after it comes to a boil. Then lower heat, and cook for another few minutes.
Add pecans
Pour over brownie after it has baked for at least 25 minutes
Take out of oven...pour all over brownie...yes, it's still loose...suppose to be.
Spread it all over the brownie the best you can.
Put BACK in the oven and bake to desired doneness...I liked it to bake for another 20 to 25 minutes...but you might like it gooier...
