Easy Chicken & Tomato Stew

Gather together your tomatoes, bell pepper and onion. The noodles in the picture are corn noodles. I think I like regular pasta noodles better for this dish but you can use Any kind You like! Cut your veggies into large hunks. You want them larger because when you "stew" things for a long period, you don't want small pieces to dissolve into...nothing! You want a little crunch!
Cut you chicken into pieces......
Hopefully. you have a little white wine laying around somewhere...Hahaaa...Yes Mam!! You'll be adding about a cup of it to the stew...Don't Worry! All the alcohol cooks out!!!
Now, fry up those pieces of chicken until they're crispy brown...
When the chicken is done, throw Everything into a 5quart pot/with lid...
Pour in the cup of white wine....LOL...Go ahead!! Add about a half cup of water....
Season with salt and pepper. You can even add a large can of diced tomatoes for more liquid. Bring to a boil then turn the heat down to low and cover. Cook until the chicken is falling off the bone, tender...usually about 45 minutes to an hour...Depends on your stovetop.
While you are waiting for the stew to cook, make your noodles according to package directions. You can season this stew to suit Your taste...Add Anything you want. You Can't mess it up!!
Enjoy!

Donna,

This sounds and LOOKS really good.

I have made chicken /veg stew-but just with stewed chicken (not fried)- and I use potatoes instead of noodles- :) and no wine!

Have to try yours!

That DO look good! I'll have to try that out one day. Do you flour the chicken before browning?
