Texas Style Ribs

So, now what shall we Do with these Bad Boys?? I believe I'll scream for Hubby to go get the smoker cranked up. Want to do some to? Follow me!

1. Grab the ribs, rinse them off in cold water and pat dry.
2. Pinto Beans...Get a small bag of them, rinse, put in a mediun sized pot and fill with cold water, enough to cover. Turn on the heat to medium.

Now grab a can of diced tomatoes and chilies. You'll be using the whole can in your pinto beans!

Stoke your smoker with Mesquite wood. That's what Hubby uses in a lot of the meats that he smokes. There's a small shute on the side that automatically feeds the disk into the smoker.

Whatever kind of smoker you have, just Go for it! You may like pecan or hickory. Just use what You like!

Bring the smoker up to 230degrees...and leave it there...6 hours, these ribs will cook.

The First Hour!

The Fourth Hour!

The Sixth Hour!

Goodness! They really turned out...wonderfully juicy!

And there you have it! We really enjoyed these ribs. Extremely juicy and tender. Hope you decide to grab a smoker and give it a try!! You won't be sorry!!

This is Fiesta Brand Pinto Bean Seasoning! Hubby loves in in his beans...Great flavor to. Just add 2-3 Tablespoons of it into the bean pot.

I later asked Hubby..."Honey!! How many beans did you use in the recipe?"....."77"...was his smart asre answer.... LOL...as he was giving me "the cocked eyebrow" look....Chefs! Extremely tempermental....hahaha
Ya'll have a Happy Summer day!

OMG, the HATCH tomatoes and chiles....I have missed those SOOOO much! And that is the exact seasoning I use on my beans too....how funny. I used to live in Albuquerque and the HATCH green chiles were the best! When we get anywhere near the western states I start looking on the shelves for those pretty yellow cans and bring home as many as I can.

by the way...I followed a link over from Jeanne's blog just so you know I am not some crazy who randomly pops by blogs and leaves comments....which I kinda did, but the HATCH really got me and I had to say something.:)
